  • Construction in Huntsville, Alabama: For homes to be built in Huntsville, AL metro area please contact BSA as certain restrictions may apply.
  • Plan square footage: Area statistics are based on our calculations to outside surface of exterior walls. Living (heated/cooled) area does NOT include porches, garages, storage areas, etc.
  • Plan compliance: Plans are done to be in complaince with the IRC (International Residential Code) / Southern Standard Building Code that was applicable at time of design. While we make every effort to reviese plans to keep current with changes in the IRC which regularly occur, we cannot guarantee compliance in every aspect on all plans. Due to local variations and interpretations, it is the builder's / purchaser's responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations where home is to be constructed. All plans hsould be reviewed by an engineer at your location to verify compliance/structural integrity with local conditions/codes and BSA is not responsible for quality of construction, engineering, or installation of any materials or labor associated with building.
  • Plan use: Plans are intended for use ONLY by licensed contractors knowledgeable in standard/common building practices and methods.

    Copyrights for all plans and derivatives (including those done by parties other than Building Science Associates, Inc.) resides with Building Science Associates, Inc.

    With purchase of construction plans in print or electronic format, unless you purchase license for multiple builds, we, as Licensor, grant you, as Licensee, the right to use these documents to build ONE unit. All plans are protected by the Federal Copyright Act and the Code of Federal Regulations.

    Any reproduction of plans or building more than one house from plans is illegal without purchase of a multiple build license. If you need additional sets you must purchase them through Licensor. Original plans or any of its derivatives may NOT be re-sold or used by others. Creating your own plan by copyright/re-drawing all or a significant part of any plan without license to do so is prohibited and subject to legal/civil consequences.
