Non-transferrable license to make copies as needed, make alterations to plans as needed and to build the design as many times as desired within one specified development.

I (licensee) understand that in ordering this design package I agree that for this one time fee the party(s) listed on the license will be permitted to make changes, print copies and construct as many times desired the design I am purchasing or variations of it within the one and only development I have noted. I also understand that this license is not transferable to others or for any other development than the one listed, that all copyrights for the original design as well as any variations remain with Building Science Associates, Inc.(licensor). I further understand that the same terms apply to the marketing artwork, but BSA, Inc. does allow for that to be used for marketing in whatever media format desired (fliers, print, website, etc.) as long as it is for only the development listed and contains the term "Copyright 2008" to protect the interests of both licensee and licensor. I know and understand any violation of the these terms would be considered a violation of copyright and subject to legal action possibly resulting in significant monetary damages to the licensee.

Each design package includes sets of drawings for 3 houses; one in each style in pdf and dxf formatted files on cd. The marketing artwork comes in jpeg format on a separate cd. Each design package includes the following drawings:

• Structural Drawings - crawlspace foundation plan including joist/girder layout and pier locations, front porch/wall section detail, ceiling frame plan, roof layout, cornice details
• Floor Plans - ¼”: 1’-0” scale drawings. Floor plans are dimensioned to outside of 2”x4” exterior walls and to center of interior walls. Window and door sizes are shown, as are cabinet layouts, though we do not include cabinet elevations, as the fabricator typically would do those locally after consultation with the builder and/or homeowner. We may have notes and/or drawings for certain specialty cabinets or details on certain plans.
• Exterior Elevations - ¼”: 1’-0” scale drawings. Front, rear, and side elevations. Misc. details for railing, skirt board w/drip, or other specialty type items will typically be shown and manufacturer name and numbers for things such as prefab window headers will also be indicated.
• Electrical Layout - “Clean” floor plan showing switch locations, electrical outlets, ceiling fans, phone jacks, etc.
• Marketing Artwork - Electronic files for the color artwork as seen here. There will be a file containing a complete flier, and separate files with exterior rendering and floor plans

Other:

• Slab Foundation - Please contact us. We offer the option of a “block and fill” slab foundation plan (which is standard on Penberry Row and Chancellory Square basement plans) on all plans for $150.00 each, though on two story plans we discourage ordering this option unless you have determined a plan with your HVAC contractor to accommodate your heating and cooling ductwork between the floors.
• Not available: Material/Quantity lists/cost estimates, plumbing or hvac diagrams, specification forms/finish schedules.
• Modifications: Please request an estimate for plan alterations.
